Become a “Friend” (member)

Become a “Friend” (member) and be a partner of Friends of the Wild Whoopers. “Friends” care about the only remaining wild flock of Whooping Cranes on the planet. Working cooperatively we can maintain a world in which Whooping Cranes, other wildlife and people can all live. As a “Friend” you receive the satisfaction of knowing you are helping the endangered Whoopers.

Why become a “Friend” of the Wild Whoopers?

The critical need is to secure stopover resting habitats along their migration corridor and winter habitat around Aransas Refuge. Friends of the Wild Whoopers is focusing on acquiring and protecting habitat because it is the weak link in the chain for protecting these magnificent endangered birds.

If we can save and expand their habitat, we not only are helping them, but we are also helping other species of wildlife. We can’t do it all alone , so are asking you for your help. Won’t you please consider helping us, so we can help the Wild Whoopers?
